Ward’s A Wasteland Companion, on April 10th 2012.The album, consisting of 12 stunning tracks, was made with 18 musicians and recorded in eight different studios in Portland, Omaha, New York City, Los Angeles, Austin and Bristol (UK).

Friday afternoon, GRAMMY winning trio Lady Antebellum officially sold out their Australian OWN THE NIGHT 2012 WORLD TOUR dates in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney where they added and sold out a second night at the Opry House due to demand.  The group has now sold over 900,000 tickets to the global tour with upcoming dates scheduled in the US, Europe and Australia.This weekend, Lady A continued to delight Canadians with the connection they are making back to the last row of fans in the massive venues.

Eliot Lipp’s recent album, Shark Wolf Rabbit Snake, may be a mouthful but it’s definitely tasty. A connoisseur of hip-hop, jazz fusion, folk and techno, Lipp blends genres together but still leave some chunky knock. Just listen to “On N’ On”.

Last night as I entered the Ace Bar for Shoe Groove, I was greeted by Old Shoe’s manager Mike Kaiz.  He saw that I was burdened with my arms full of stuff and gestured to the back booth.  Reflecting back upon this, not only was this show a great summer skin showing show, but also an entire club where everyone could set their stuff together.
