Upon entering George’s Majestic Lounge on Sunday night I noticed something in the air. It wasn’t smoke, because you can’t smoke in George’s. But there was something else hovering in the spaces between us humans. Music wafted from the back room – a folk duo picking at stringed instruments and harmonizing light Arkansas accents. The venue was buzzing with old friends and new faces, happy hearts and big smiles. Elephant Revival was in town – a cause for celebration. And a celebration it was.

Head for the Hills will perform at the Mishawaka Amphitheatre in Bellvue, CO on May 17th as part of their annual gathering, "Pickin' on the Poudre." This will be the 10th consecutive year the quartet has opened the concert season at the historic mountain venue. Grant Farm with special guest Benny "Burle" Galloway and Gispy Moon will support the evening, presented by The Colorado Sound.

Tom Constanten’s professional career began as a member of the Grateful Dead in the band’s early developmental years. His impressive solo career and collaborations on dozens of other albums make him an important fixture in American music.
