How about breaking bread with former White House Chief-of-Staff Peter Rouse in Washington DC, or music entrepreneur Peter Shapiro in New York? They are all members of the board of directors of the non-profit voter registration organization HeadCount, and they’ll be sitting down for private lunches with supporters of the cause.
The Blue Mountain Community Renewal Council, a 501C3- non-profit, is partnering with HUMANITY RISING - Share the Spirit, A Butte Fire Benefit on December 19th at the Calaveras County Fairgrounds.

Calling all music fans: McDowell Mountain Music Festival (M3F) announces the lineup for the 13th annual Festival on March 11-13, 2016.
The lineup is as follows by day in alphabetical order (no set order):

Saturday- Goldfish, GRiZ, The Main Squeeze, M!nt, Porter Robinson Live, St. Lucia.
Sunday- The Avett Brothers, Bird Dog, Gary Clark Jr., Kaleo.
Today, roots reggae favorites Stick Figure are releasing their sixth album, Set In Stone, making their mark as one of the fastest growing bands in the U.S. scene. Recorded in a self-constructed recording studio in the Santa Cruz Mountains, it took sole songwriter, instrumentalist, and producer Scott Woodruff three years to make.
