The new album from anthemic rock trio, Augustines, is an urgent, resonant wakeup call, taking stock of where we are now and what the future holds... an open road ahead. The band’s revelatory debut single demands from its audience: Are we alive? Or are we just kidding ourselves?

Lotus announces the July 15th release date of the new studio album, Eat the Light. It’s a first for Lotus, an album with vocals on every song. Guest singers appear throughout ranging from soulful to indie, male and female, electronic and rock. The tracks bubble with contagious dance energy and blast into orbit with sing-along choruses. Tightly produced yet raw grooves recall sounds of The Talking Heads, Jamiroquai, and LCD Soundsystem.

After taking the scenic route in the old CJ-7 through the Blue Ridge Parkway, driving through yet another torrential downpour from the Purple Rain, and a glorious lightning storm the likes of which we have yet to see this year, we arrived at Pop’s Farm. London-based sister act, Bloom Twins, have unveiled their new single ‘Amnesia,' to be taken from their forthcoming debut LP due out later this year. The track, a perfect example of the girls’ dark pop, that serves up haunting dual vocals set against an electro backbone.
