Acclaimed bluegrass modernists YONDER MOUNTAIN STRING BAND have announced a month-long trek of U.S. tour dates for winter 2018, kicking off January 10 in Pennsylvania.  The 24-show tour runs down the East Coast, through Florida for five nights and then circles up through the Midwest.  The Southern Belles will open 15 of the shows.

Redefining the possibilities of modern music, The Russ Liquid Test fuses the raw vitality of classic funk and the inventive sound design of electronic production. Songwriter/producer and renowned brass specialist Russell Scott heads up the New Orleans-based band. Guitarist Andrew Block and drummer Deven Trusclair round things out, with each providing a distinct musical background deeply rooted in the New Orleans jazz scene. Cigarettes After Sex front man Greg Gonzalez had a clear vision for his band’s debut album, a gorgeously cinematic work released via Partisan Records on June 9th, 2017. After the phenomenal online break-out success of 2015’s reverberant beauty ‘Nothing’s Gonna Hurt You Baby’ from the early Cigarettes EP (‘I.’) from 2012, the Brooklyn transplant (originally from El Paso) wanted to project his worldview on to a bigger screen, a broader canvas. MerleFest, presented by Window World, is proud to announce the initial lineup for MerleFest 2018, which will be held April 26 - 29. The annual homecoming of musicians and music fans returns to the campus of Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The complete lineup for MerleFest 2018 will be announced over the next few months.

Rock The Ocean, in partnership with Live Nation, announced the all-star lineup for the sixth-annual Tortuga Music Festival today.  Country music heavyweights Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line and Keith Urban will headline the destination festival’s main stage, taking place across three-days and two stages April 6-8 at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
