Whiskey Shivers make their major film debut today, December 22nd, 2017, with the national release of Pitch Perfect 3, directed by Trish Sie. The band appear as “Saddle Up” – a country inspired band who compete against the Bellas on a USO Tour. Whiskey Shivers show off their acting and musical skills in the film alongside returning cast members Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson and Hailee Steinfeld.

After headliner Paolo Conte (6 July), Gent Jazz Festival announces a new name right before the holiday break. The 17th festival edition takes place from 29 June to 8 July 2018 on the historical Bijloke site in Ghent. On Sunday July 1st 2018, the audience favourite Melanie De Biasio will have the whole tent gasp in awe. It will also be an exclusive opportunity to see the jazz musician in Flanders this summer. North Coast Music Festival (NCMF) is thrilled to release presale tickets for 2018, just in time for the holidays! Returning for its ninth annual year, the 3-day festival, lovingly referred to as "Summer's Last Stand" will take place at Chicago’s Union Park during Labor Day Weekend on August 31st through September 2nd.

"For Dave's Picks Vol. 26, we're heading back to the Fall of 1971, when Pigpen was home resting, and Keith was a month into his tenure with the Grateful Dead, for the complete show on 11/17/71 in Albuquerque. This was the Dead's first show in New Mexico, and they welcomed the welcoming New Mexican crowd with some of the best music they played in all of 1971.
