California funk n’ roll outfit ALO will be heading out on the road this week on Tour D’Amour XIV  that will see the band traverse the west coast accompanied by friends such as Twiddle, The Motet, Leftover Salmon and Ben Morrison from Brothers Comatose.  Following Tour D’Amour the band heads to the East Coast on their California Creatures Tour.

Luck Reunion , presented by Southwest Air, the flagship festival of Luck Productions, is pleased to announce the 2020 installment of their fan-forward ticket buying initiative, Lucky Draw Live. The California Roots Music and Arts Festival has become synonymous with the North American reggae and roots music scene, but for years the event has also featured some of the biggest names in hip hop. The 2015 edition had the legendary Roots headline and Cypress Hill also perform that year. Minneapolis’ Atmosphere has become a staple at the festival with 2020 being their fourth year. Cali Roots has also featured Rhymesayers labelmates Brother Ali and Dilated Peoples.

AEG Presents has announced the inaugural lineup and details for Born & Raised Music Festival, a new outlaw, Texas and Red Dirt country music and camping experience taking over the Pryor Creek Music Festival Grounds in Pryor, Oklahoma, the long-standing home of Rocklahoma.

The 78-year old three-time Grammy winner treated the audience to an evening of African, Caribbean, Hawaiian, and blues music that was upbeat, infectious and captivating. Mahal is a musicologist who celebrates and honors African music as being the cornerstone of all modern music.
