Acoustic guitar pioneer Leo Kottke and Phish bassist Mike Gordon have announced the release of their first new album together in 15 years. NOON arrives via ATO Records at all DSPs and streaming services on Friday, August 28; the album’s physical release is set for Friday, November 20. Phish Dry Goods will have a limited pressing on clear vinyl with Red/Gold splatter.

Jerry Castle’s recent singles have seen the singer-songwriter tipped for bigger things. His heartfelt, booze-soaked Americana simmers with the energy of southern rock, pure country attitude and the emotive power of heartland rock. Though the release of his new album, Midnight Testaments, is still a couple of months away, he is already off to the races with major outlets jumping aboard to premiere the cluster of animated videos that Jerry has produced.

The Danish guitarist and songwriter Asger Tarpgaard is releasing the warm, thoughtful single “I Wear Shades” as he presents his brand new project Souldier. His music is inspired by older british and american songwriter traditions and the track tells the story about hiding yourself behind a pair of sunglasses. At some point, you should consider taking them off.

After completing an innovative and well-received virtual “Bingo Tour” earlier this summer, Connecticut indie-groove band Goose announced its return to the stage with a socially distanced drive-in show on Cape Cod. Hosted at the Yarmouth Drive-In on Saturday, September 12th, the band will play an outdoor multi-set show, with fans situated in designated socially distant areas adjacent to their vehicles. Having not performed for an audience since early March, Goose is looking forward to playing live.
