Singer/songwriter and upright bassist Melissa Carper has unveiled her brand-new single “Makin’ Memories,” the first from her forthcoming album Daddy’s Country Gold, set for release on March 19th. Carper’s refreshingly unique style calls to mind greats like Kitty Wells, Billie Holiday, and Loretta Lynn, beautifully conveyed in the grooves of the album’s 12 sparkling gems.

On February 13, Nathaniel Rateliff will make his debut as the musical guest on “Saturday Night Live.” Regina King will host the show. Rateliff’s latest single “Redemption,” written for the Apple Original film Palmer, comes on the heels of his celebrated 2020 solo album And It’s Still Alright (Stax Records). LEE ROCKER of The Stray Cats fame marks today’s (January 22) release of his new solo album GATHER ROUND on Upright Records (his label distributed through Orchard) by sharing the Elvis-themed video for “Graceland Auctions.” Watch the fun-filled video, directed by Justin Drucker and starring ROCKER with his band, here.
