Surmounting an unforeseen, one-year tour break imposed by coronavirus, Magic Beans hits the airwaves with fresh energy showcased in two new singles: “Sharon Is Karen” drops today, and “Footprints in the Rain” debuts on April 16. Both singles hail from “Slice of Life,” the band’s newest, double-record album scheduled for full release on April 30.

Intimate, never-before-seen 8mm film footage of John Lennon and Yoko Ono Lennon captured at home in 1968 has been paired together with the brand-new Ultimate Mix of “Look At Me” for a thrilling new video. Filmed by camera operator William Wareing and his crew, the video features black and white and color footage on “home movie” Standard 8 film filmed between takes of John and Yoko’s films, “Film No. 5” (“Smile”) (conceived by Yoko) and “Two Virgins” (conceived by John and Yoko).

Saint Disruption, the soul-inspired, collaborative music group consisting of John Medeski and scientist and folk healer Jeff Firewalker Schmitt, have released their latest single “Last Poet First / Ukupacha,” an ode to New York City’s Last Poets and the founder, Umar Bin Hassan.
