Rising star blues vocalist  Casey Hensley has been nominated in two categories - "Album of the Year" and "Best Blues Album", each for her breakout debut release, Good As Gone (Vizztone) -  for the 2021 30th Annual San Diego Music Awards, taking place live on Tuesday, August 24, at Humphrey's By The Bay in San Diego.

After being forced to cancel several live dates last year due to the pandemic, singer-songwriter-guitarist CHRIS ROBERTS is more than ready to hit the road and play his first shows in more than a year. The set will include tracks from his newly released debut EP Red Feather (February 2021) and showcase what he calls his “rock ’n’ roll/hippie/country magic.”

John Hiatt with The Jerry Douglas Band will release Leftover Feelings on May 21st via New West Records. The 11-song set was produced by Jerry Douglas and recorded at Historic RCA Studio B in Nashville, Tenn. A meeting of two American music giants in a legendary setting, Leftover Feelings is neither a bluegrass album nor a return to Hiatt’s 1980s days with slide guitar greats Ry Cooder and Sonny Landreth.

Los Lobos will return with Native Sons on July 30th via New West Records. The 13-song set was produced by Los Lobos in East Los Angeles and finds the band mapping their musical DNA as a kaleidoscopic selection of tribute songs from their homeland, ultimately creating a crucial snapshot of L.A.’s musical heritage.
