LA-based Viennese dream pop project Sugarplum Fairies have announced their new collection Altar Songs 1998-2021 and share the lead single, “Heart of Hell” accompanied by a  music video directed by Lael Neale. A poignant track with Nico-esque vocals and cinematic production, "Heart Hell" is a stunning collaboration between Sugarplum Fairies frontwoman Silvia Ryder and Sid Simons of Girl Skin.

Brazilian soul rocker Frederico7 has been making waves since 2019 as his debut album Exótico Americano charted #1 in the North American World Music Radio charts among greats Salif Keita and Bomba Estéreo. Labor Day marks a transition back to school, work, and the daily grind of life. And it’s for this reason that NYC-based funk band Jeremy Beck & the Heavy Duty Horns will release their new single, “Mountain,” on Labor Day Monday, September 6, 2021.

“I started with the idea of total personal self-confidence,” says Beck, in reference to his inspiration for the song. “Being able to conquer anything. I hope ‘Mountain’ will inspire listeners to keep striving for anything they want to get out of life.”

Hot, dry summer winds buffeted a sold-out audience at the Vina Robles Amphitheater in Paso Robles on Saturday, August 14th. The mostly older audience gathered early at the venue, one of the most beautiful in all of California. The occasion was a night of Latin flavored rock featuring the Los Angeles-based Los Lobos and the Miami flavored Tejano group, The Mavericks.
