MerleFest, presented by Window World—Wilkesboro, North Carolina’s annual homecoming of musicians and music fans—is only one week away. As the festival nears, organizers want to remind festivalgoers of a few important details. Festival gates will open at 1:30 pm local time on Thursday and 9:30 am on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. All attendees and participants will be required to show one of the following 2 options along with festival admission passes to enter the festival:

Labor Day weekend arrived with a stellar performance by jam rocker’s Twiddle at the Stanhope House in Stanhope, NJ. Despite technical difficulties that abridged the outdoor performance, the band delivered their signature improvisation, positive vibes and several notable covers. This included an impromptu acoustic set to finish out the night inside the Stanhope House after the power for the PA mysteriously went out.

Singer-songwriter-guitarist CHRIS ROBERTS straddles the worlds of Americana, raw country and Southern rock…or as he puts it “rock ‘n’ roll/hippie/country magic.” Following the release of his debut EP Red Feather earlier this year, CHRIS is getting ready to drop a new collection of songs on September 24, the Lost and Found EP.
