Gibson Gives, the philanthropic arm of Gibson--the iconic American guitar brand--has announced today a $300,000 donation to benefit students attending Metro Nashville Public Schools. The public private partnership Music Makes Us will distribute the donation of guitars and other music equipment across Metro Nashville Public Schools music education programs, as well as sistering school districts.

Rising NYC-based, Kentucky-born singer-songwriter Sam Phelps will release Hunter Springs Road – a collection of songs about home, restlessness and homesickness – on November 4th (full track listing can be found below). Alongside the EP announcement, Sam has released the lead single “New York Newsstand Blues,” a tale of abandonment and everyday life he wrote after stumbling upon an empty Manhattan newsstand in the midst of the pandemic.

Toronto, ON-based NY Times and BILLBOARD-charting global music supergroup Sultans of String have released their brand-new single, “Mi Santuario” — available now!

This song features the four core Sultans, as well as an incredibly talented and inspiring special guest Juan Carlos Medrano, who co-wrote the music with the band, and sings his original lyrics, as well as performing on gaita, the traditional flute.

As she gears up for the release of her sophomore EP Full Cup, out October 8th, soulful singer-songwriter Juliana Riccardi has released her new single, “Hold For Your Woman.” A fierce call-to-action, the track offers a different look into the introspective record and sets an edgier tone with an anthemic chorus and searing guitar solo as Juliana demands that women be accepted for their strength, wisdom, and confidence.
