Gestated during the locked-down summer of 2020, Back pOrchEstra, a collection of all-star West Coast musicians, has released its first album, Voices in My Head (Genre Whiplash), and announced a series of upcoming Bay Area performances. The band’s album and support show feature songs from a diverse American background - roots rock, Americana, country blues, western swing, Cajun, and New Orleans music with originals and reworked classics by Hank Williams, Taj Mahal, Dan Hicks and more.

Acclaimed singer, songwriter and musician Joy Oladokun’s new song, “Keeping the Light On,” is out today—listen/share HERE.

Reflecting on the song, Oladokun shares, “My next body of work is about the human will to keep trying in the midst of all the tragedy that we’ve seen and perpetrated. ‘Keeping the Light On’ is my little musical way of saying it’s really hard to keep trying but I think part of life is doing so anyway and seeing what magic comes out of it.”

Consider the Source releases new video for "Rock, Flag & Eagle" & announces tour of intimate, seated performances in support of their recently released Acoustic/Electric Hybrid Album out on Ropeadope Records. For the first time ever, the band will be taking out their collection of acoustic instruments from around the world in addition to their signature axes to perform the album in full plus more. Many of these instruments will be new sights and sounds for western crowds.

To commemorate the anniversary, McLean has coined his international 50th Anniversary “American Pie” World Tour which will visit multiple destinations in N. America, UK/Europe, and Australia!
 

British musician Jack Broadbent releases “Ride,” the title track and video from his upcoming album Ride out April 8th.  The blues-heavy rock track offers a groove-infused, updated take on the classic road song, as Broadbent barrels down the highway in a convertible with his guitar.
