Inspired by the traditional as well as the unconventional, The Wooks have established a distinctive sound through original songwriting, exceptional musicianship, and outside influences ranging from jam bands to Southern rock. While their origin stories are diverse, all four members of The Wooks have forged a common bond that honors individuality and innovation.

Ben Folds has announced additional 2022 dates for his “In Actual Person Live For Real Tour” of US solo piano and orchestral performances, kicking off April 1st, 2022 with a symphony concert at Powell Hall in St. Louis, MO, with additional shows to be added throughout the year. Folds, who spent much of 2020 and early 2021 in isolation in Australia because of COVID-19 lockdowns, returned to US stages in the Fall of 2021 to numerous sold-out performances.

WinterWonderGrass is set to return to California over April 1–3, 2022 at Palisades Tahoe resort. Today, the festival shares its larger-than-ever Grass After Dark late night series, offering ten distinct shows over five venues throughout the weekend.

Brian Macdonald, of the multi-Platinum band Judah & the Lion, has announced a new solo project under the moniker Victor Mucho. Due out May 13, 2022, his debut album, Moonlight in Visby, was written and recorded while living on the remote island of Gotland, Sweden in the Baltic Sea. It pays homage to the tiny, rural town Macdonald, his wife Maddie, and their dog Halyard called home during a year of seclusion and reflection.

Tré Burt is announcing his first national headline tour coming off of his busy and buzzing 2021 including the release of his sophomore album, You, Yeah You, on Oh Boy Records. The past year saw Tré Burt touring the country with Nathaniel Rateliff, Shakey Graves, and Katie Pruitt as well as critically acclaimed appearances at the storied Newport Folk Festival. Old Settler’s Music Festival is pleased to announce the first wave of bands confirmed for its 35th anniversary gathering, slated for April 21-24 — a welcome return to its usual springtime slot. The festival takes place at its permanent home in Tilmon, Texas, 12 miles southeast of Lockhart.
