Today, multi-GRAMMY award winning and multi-genre traversing legend Taj Mahal announced he will celebrate his 80th birthday with the GRAMMY Museum, who will host an intimate conversation moderated by Scott Goldman on Thursday, June 16. The conversation will explore his incredible career and new music including the critically acclaimed recent album release Get On Board featuring Taj Mahal alongside former Rising Sons band mate, Ry Cooder. The event will also feature a live performance by Taj Mahal.

This past Tuesday night, born-and-bred New Orleans musical icon and ambassador Trombone Shorty performed an electrifying rendition of his new song “Lifted” with an 11-piece band on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. It marks his third time on The Late Show and kicks off a summer of key appearances and a major U.S. tour that includes headlining dates at Central Park SummerStage, Red Rocks and The Hollywood Bowl.

Today, platinum selling band & modern day live legends O.A.R. debuted their new song “In The Clouds,” the first single off their upcoming tenth studio album ‘The Arcade’, out this summer. O.A.R. is set to embark on their Summer tour in July alongside Dispatch. They will be making 37 stops in Los Angeles, San Diego, Denver, Atlanta, Cleveland, Nashville, Boston, Chicago, New York, Philly, Austin, Virginia Beach and more along with some solo shows (full routing below).

This year Cali Roots sees the epic return to the Monterey County Fair and Event Center after a two year hiatus due to COVID-19. The legendary event started in Monterey in 2009 and continues to bring the best lineup for musical acts, visual artists, and food trucks to the community they love. Today the festival celebrates Monterey with locals taking center stage.
