The genre-bending powerhouse, KCL, comprised of guitarist Wayne Krantz, drummer Keith Carlock and bassist Tim Lefebvre, have announced their return this Fall - continuing their “Golden Days” world tour. The excursion will kick off on September 6 at New York City’s iconic club, The Bitter End before concluding on September 17 at another iconic club, The Baked Potato in Los Angeles, CA.

Beloved indie electronic bands slenderbodies and Łaszewo are revealed to complete the full lineup of 2022’s High Ground Music & Arts Experience, presented by Levitate Events. They join an inclusive lineup set to perform at the diverse second year of the 18+ Colorado-based independent festival, which earned the acclaim of Westword Magazine as “People’s Choice Best New Music Festival” following its debut last year.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Beastie Boys’ multi-platinum album Check Your Head, on August 12, UMe will release a limited-edition reissue of the rare 4LP deluxe version of the album, originally released in 2009 as an artist store exclusive. The long out-of-print and much sought-after box set features the 2009 remaster of the original double album, plus two extra LPs of bonus content including remixes, live versions, and B-sides.

Today, two-time Grammy Award winning group Planet Drum is releasing the exuberant “King Clave” from their upcoming album In the Groove, out August 5th.  Master musicians  Mickey Hart (USA),  Zakir Hussain (India), Giovanni Hidalgo (Puerto Rico) and Sikiru Adepoju (Nigeria) are Planet Drum, and “King Clave” is based on a 6,000 person drum circle (which Hart directed in 2004) which establishes the rhythm that connects the musical cultures around the world.

After three long years, Bonnaroovians from across the globe rejoiced as one of the most beloved music festivals returned to the farm in Manchester, Tennessee. The festival began 20 years ago as a novel experiment in festival concepts featuring mostly jam bands. The remote location allowed the music to continue nearly nonstop into the early morning. Interaction between bands was encouraged, and unique one-off jams evolved as a hallmark of the festival.

Today, Rhett Miller announced his new album The Misfit with the dreamy and reflective debut single “Follow You Home,” featuring vocals from Cassandra Jenkins and Annie Nero. The album marks his first solo full length album in four years and will be released on September 16 via ATO Records.
