GRAMMY-winning songwriter Jesse Harris shares “Yankee,” the latest song from his new album Silver Balloon, out October 21 on Harris’s own Secret Sun Recordings. “Yankee” is a drum-machine propelled bossa nova that paints a portrait of a character whose wandering days seem to be coming to an end, though the bubbling percussion and slightly ominous chord changes leave it unclear as to whether it’s a begrudging retirement or an untimely demise.

Goose returned to The National in Richmond, Va last Friday night for another barn burner, and the second of a two night stand for their Fall tour opener. The weather was quite soggy in the River City, but that did not stop fans from waiting in line for hours to secure a good spot for this very sold out show.

North Beach Music Festival returns to Miami Beach, FL this December 9th to 11th. In anticipation of this year's festivities, today the festival drops its daily schedule and announces experimental saxophonist Skerik as 2022's artist-at-large. Sustain Music and Nature, a U.S. nonprofit that makes music a force for nature, proudly announces its upcoming Songscape series will feature five time platinum selling and Grammy-nominated Scottish Singer-Songwriter KT Tunstall. Showcasing the public lands of the Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska in a retreat commencing on National Public Lands Day (24 September), KT’s song and the accompanying music video, shot by outdoor adventure videographer Chris Shane, will premiere globally in 2023.

Singer-songwriter and band leader, Don McCloskey will celebrate the release of his album The Chaos and The Beauty October 14th at Ardmore Music Hall.  This show will be the culmination of a fruitful early fall as the band opened two sold out nights at The Met supporting the It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia podcast, the first single, “First In Flight” was added into rotation at WXPN, and they made an in-studio appearance on WMMR’s Preston & Steve Show.
