New York poet-folkie and singer-songwriter Steven Keene takes on the role of a musical archaeologist with his latest track “I Can’t Leave Her Behind” — collaborating across space and time with a young Bob Dylan captured on an obscure audio artifact from 1966 — to bring one of the folk legend’s greatest unfinished compositions to life.

Quarto Valley Records announces the upcoming release of Blues All Around, the new album from legendary British Blues Rock band Savoy Brown on February 17th. Shortly after the new album was completed, Savoy Brown founder, guitarist/ singer/ songwriter Kim Simmonds lost his hard-fought battle with cancer on December 13th, just a week after turning 75. While recuperating from his initial cancer treatments, Simmonds had begun work on the new album that was to become Blues All Around.

Drummer and composer Kendrick Scott returns with the March 3 release of Corridors, his third album for Blue Note Records, and first compositional treatment of trio context: saxophone, bass, and drums. The follow-up to A Wall Becomes A Bridge, Scott’s much-lauded 2019 release with his band Oracle, Corridors unveils an exposed rumination from the Houston-born artist and his acclaimed collaborators: saxophonist Walter Smith III and bassist Reuben Rogers.

Making a name as the biggest breakthrough artists on the international Americana scene in 2021 with their debut album Go By Feel, Canadian country/roots collective, The Hello Darlins are gearing up to return with an even more ambitious collection of material for 2023.

MATT PANAYIDES is a guitarist and composer whose distinctive playing has led to performances throughout New York City and all over the world. Influenced by guitarists such as Jim Hall, John Scofield, and Wes Montgomery as well as Jimi Hendrix and Joni Mitchell, Panayides has set out on his own path creating a unique body of music documented across numerous performances and recordings. Based in the New York City area, Panayides can be found leading his own groups and collaborating with other musicians throughout NYC and abroad.

The Routes are back with “Lead Lined Clouds”, their 13th studio album, and their first vocal offering since 2021’s “Mesmerised”. Picking up where “Mesmelrised” left off (with 4 instrumental albums being released between “Mesmerised” and “Lead Lined Clouds”), “Lead Lined Clouds” consists of ten original songs, tackling subjects such as austerity, old age, corruption, propaganda, social media, and mental health.
