Acclaimed Nordic indie folk duo Tuomo & Markus release their new album today. Game Changing was produced by Tuomo & Markus – a.k.a. Finnish soul/jazz singer/pianist Tuomo Prättälä and singer-songwriter Markus Nordenstreng (of Helsinki-based roots rock band The Latebirds) – in their native Finland and studios across the US.

JP Ruggieri has announced his sophomore studio album, Gradually Descend into Chaos, will be released March 10, 2023. The Nashville-based songwriter and studio musician has collaborated with producer Jano Rix (The Wood Brothers) on this unique, eleven track collection that reckons with heartbreak, loss, and uncertainty. The album’s first single, “Kill a Smile,’ is out today (listen/share). Ruggieri will support the album with an extensive U.K. tour beginning in February.

Oak View Group (OVG) today announced the creation of its national Theater Alliance, and the Boch Center has joined the inaugural roster of 39 marque theaters and performing arts venues in 18 markets across North America that will benefit from collective buying power, routing of non-traditional content, sponsorship opportunities, industry best practices and resources, and shared proceeds from an annual fundraising gala.

Six-string virtuosos Rob Ickes and Trey Hensley just shared a brand new tune from their upcoming Compass Records release, Living In A Song; a spirited, full-band ode to America’s favorite clear liquor, “Moonshine Run.” While much of Living In A Song spotlights the duo's proficiency on acoustic guitar and dobro, “Moonshine Run” finds Ickes and Hensley ripping on lap steel and electric guitar in addition to their signature un-amplified instruments. “I had this song pieced together for a few years,” remembers Hensley.
