Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden is excited to present a fun-filled day of live music with the Emmy-nominated bluegrass/hip hop fusion band Gangstagrass, previously seen on America’s Got Talent. The event takes place on Saturday, April 29 from 1:00 PM - 5:30 PM on the South Meadow of Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden at 1000 Richmond Terrace, Staten Island, NY 10301. Known for delivering a unique brand of psychedelic soul and rock-tinged Americana, Bay Area collective Moonalice ushers in the 4/20 holiday with a smokin’ version of  “Am I High?,” the cult stoner singalong anthem from 10x-Grammy-winning Asleep at the Wheel. Asleep at the Wheel’s founder and vocalist Ray Benson joins Moonalice on their new version, singing the song’s bridge and harmonizing in unison with the T Sisters.

Kendall Street Company have released pro-video footage of their entire Broadberry show from February 25th. Wrapping up the second annual Kendall Street Is For Lovers Tour, this show is a real two-set barn burner. The band left it all on the table.

Troubadour Steve Forbert’s acclaimed 1988 album, Streets of This Town, will be back in print on CD and 140-gram vinyl for the first time in 28 years.
