On May 15, 1953, five of jazz’s most influential musicians – Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Charles Mingus, Max Roach, and Bud Powell – gathered at Toronto’s Massey Hall for what would result in their first and only known recording as a quintet. While only a small audience was able to experience it in person, this historic evening was captured on tape. The resulting album, The Quintet: Jazz at Massey Hall, would become one of the genre’s most essential and celebrated releases.

Andy Logan started collecting Grateful Dead-influenced and played guitars and….things began to happen: he is now the Executive Producer of Alex Jordan’s forthcoming release Queen Kerosene, produced by four-time Grammy winner Steve Berlin, out in March 2024.

Fresh off a brief hiatus, moe. is back on the road, taking their infectious energy across the U.S. for their Fall Tour. Today they have announced that they will return to the iconic Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY for a 2-night run on Friday, December 8th and Saturday, December 9th. These shows herald the band's eagerly awaited return to “the cap,” a venue they last played in December 2021.
