Australia’s award-winning Americana/Bluegrass band, The Stetson Family, announces the release of their fourth album, coming on April 19.

Philadelphia public radio station WXPN today announced the first eight artists who will perform in its 2024 XPoNential Music Festival presented by Subaru. The annual outdoor music festival produced by WXPN will take place from Friday, September 20 through Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Wiggins Park on the Camden, New Jersey waterfront.

In a remarkable fusion of talent and genres, the roots rock ensemble Brothers Brown has released their eagerly anticipated second album, “No Where Left To Go,” spotlighting the legendary blues singer Bobby Rush on its title track. This collaboration marks a high point in the group's career, blending an earthy mix of Americana with jam band sensibilities across thirteen original tracks.

Today, 8-time GRAMMY® Award winner Christian McBride has shared a new single “Philly Slop,” recorded with renowned Bassist and composer Edgar Meyer, from the duo’s upcoming album But Who’s Gonna Play The Melody?. "This was my way of putting in the love for my hometown,” writes McBride. “This comes out of that Philly groove. Edgar is a classical bassist with perfect execution, but when he plays the blues that kid from Oak Ridge, Tennessee comes out."

The Immediate Family took the stage at The Mint, one of LA's premier mid-sized venues, on February 13, marking the beginning of a brief tour with scheduled dates in both California and Florida. The band boasts an assembly of iconic session musicians: Russ Kunkel on drums, Leland Sklar on bass, Danny Kortchmar, Steve Postell, and Waddy Wachtel on guitars. Kortchmar and Postell primarily handle the lead vocals.
