The day after the spring equinox and just before the full moon, another not to be missed phenomenon will over take the Spirit of Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida- Suwannee Springfest will be in the air March 21st-24th. This boisterous yet family friendly hoe down under a canopy of majestic mossy oaks is a gem of a festival with a great lineup, spring weather, and a stunning natural setting. What better way to set your natural spring rhythm than to camp next to the lazy spring-fed Suwannee River and dance the night away to your favorite bluegrass, newgrass, blues and jams? Old Crow Medicine Show, Scythian, Peter Rowan, Leftover Salmon, Keller and the Keels, Donna the Buffalo, Cornmeal, Elephant Revival, Mosier Brothers, Dangermuffin and many others will bring their strings and talents to Springfest 2013. Local artists such as Whetherman, Grandpa’s Cough Medicine and Canary In A Coalmine will also help round out this year’s forest festival lineup. Start your spring in perfect harmony with Springfest!
Tickets include four nights of camping and are $165 until the festival. Tickets are $180 at the gate.
