With the music industry’s march towards safe gatherings, organizers for the 4848 Festival announce the artist lineup cementing plans for a return atop Snowshoe Mountain in West Virginia this year on Labor Day weekend. 4848 Festival will follow current WV state guidelines and will go on-sale with a limited capacity.
All previously purchased tickets and room packages will be honored for the new dates and 2021 tickets and room packages will go on sale Friday, May 21 at 10 AM ET.
The lineup for the Labor Day weekend festival features Greensky Bluegrass for two nights as the festival headliner, plus additional acts Grace Potter, Goose, Legion of Melvin (Melvin Seals & JGB with Karl Denson), Galactic feat. Anjelika ‘Jelly’ Joseph, Yonder Mountain String Band, Twiddle, Keller & The Keels, The Motet, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Easy Star All-Stars, The Lil Smokies, Toubab Krewe, The Commonheart, Ona, Ghost-Note, Katie Henry, and Jake Krack.
Following its epic debut in July 2019, 4848 Festival features the performances of 18 genre busting acts, offering over 30 hours of stellar live music within the All Good Presents festival experience. Snowshoe Mountain’s ‘Fun Pass’ is included with each ticket, presenting new options for summer music festival experiences: scenic lift rides, Split Rock pools, climbing wall, along with Shavers Lake activities including swimming, paddle boats, canoes, kayaks, as well as hiking trails, beach, Boathouse and lakeside hammocks.
Snowshoe covers 11,000 acres in the Appalachian Mountain Range and includes the second highest point in West Virginia at 4848’. Snowshoe Mountain Resort, touted as the best ski resort in the region, delivers a phenomenal summertime outdoor playground for ‘festivacation’.
Numerous GA & VIP packages for 4848 Festival offer various lodging options including studio, one-, two-, three-bedroom experiences, townhomes and houses; with a limited number of rooms furnishing patrons with balconies overlooking the village plaza, the mountains and Split Rock pools. At the base of the mountain, tent camping options overlooking the lake are available with complimentary shuttles and ski lift rides to the Mountaintop Village and 4848 Festival grounds. RV camping with hook-ups are also available. All 4848 Festival room packages are available on a limited availability basis.
