Chris Trapper, Caitlin Canty, PNDB, Ryan Lee Crosby, Analog Heart, Ill Supreme, and a special music performance inspired by Jack Kerouac have been added to the lineup for the inaugural The Town and The City Festival. Produced by Porter Productions with support from the Greater Merrimack Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau, the 2-day music and arts festival will feature both locally-based and national touring acts on Friday, October 19th and Saturday, October 20th in event spaces, bars, cafes and galleries throughout downtown Lowell, Massachusetts. Advance Two-day and Single-Day Passes, as well as individual tickets, are on sale now at www.thetownandthecityfestival.com.
Named after the title of Jack Kerouac's first major published work, The Town and The City Festival is inspired by the creativity and exploration for which Kerouac was so famously known. The diverse mix of musical genres and artistic disciplines represented in the festival will inspire discovery and celebrate the love of life.
Venues hosting The Town and The City Festival include The Luna Theater, Coffee and Cotton, Christ Church United, Gallery Z, Uncharted Gallery, and the Parker Gallery at the Whistler House Museum of Art for all-ages performances.
