The July 2019 debut of the 4848 Festival created something extraordinary: a refreshing alternative to the traditional campout festival. The sophomore event returns July 9 – 11, 2020 with an evolved summer experience, held atop Snowshoe Mountain in Snowshoe, WV - at 4848’ above sea level. All Good Presents, curators of the seminal All Good Music Festival, returned to West Virginia in July 2019 with the debut 4848 Festival anchored by two nights of Greensky Bluegrass.
The mountaintop comes alive again in 2020 as the 4848 Festival features performances of 20 plus genre busting acts, 30 plus hours of stellar live music, crowd performers, kids activities, craft beer, delightful foods & authentic craft vendors. Snowshoe Mountain’s ‘Fun Pass’ is included with each ticket, presenting new possibilities for summer music festival experiences.
Outdoor offerings at 4848 Festival include average highs of 82 and lows of 60 degrees, scenic lift rides, Split Rock pools, zipline, climbing wall, along with Shavers Lake activities including swimming, paddle boats, canoes, kayaks, as well as hiking trails, beach, and lakeside hammocks. Snowshoe covers 11,000 acres in the Appalachian Mountain Range and includes the second highest point in West Virginia at 4848’. Snowshoe Mountain Resort, touted as the best ski resort in the region, delivers a phenomenal summertime outdoor playground for ‘festivacation’.
GA & VIP packages for 4848 Festival offer numerous lodging options including studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom experiences; with a limited number of rooms furnishing VIP patrons with a festival stage facing balcony.
