Grateful Web is excited to premiere the official video for Hamish Anderson's newest single, "Stir Crazy", from his highly anticipated album ELECTRIC, set for release on October 11, 2024. The video drops on October 16th, delivering a powerful visual to match the track's driving energy and raw guitar riffs.

"Stir Crazy" is a hard-hitting, riff-heavy anthem in the vein of early ’80s ZZ Top, combining elements of AC/DC and Joan Jett to create a high-voltage sound that’s bound to get listeners moving. “It’s got a big riff and the power chords put me in the headspace of a AC/DC, Joan Jett, ZZ Top kind of groove. Lyrically it’s about being trapped and trying not to completely lose control,” says Hamish.

“'Stir Crazy' is a song that has so much energy to it that every time we play it live it really kicks things off. The footage for the video is from a night I played at Hotel Cafe in LA and the song was definitely a highlight of the set. As we were working on this edit, I realized just how much it captures the raw, driven feel I had when I wrote 'Stir Crazy'.”

The single is the third release from Anderson's forthcoming album and follows the success of "You’re Mine," a soulful and emotionally charged track that premiered on Atwood Magazine earlier this month. The site hailed it as “a seductive and smoldering outpouring of love,” showcasing Hamish’s blues-rock sensibilities and intimate songwriting.

ELECTRIC is Anderson’s first album in five years, described as a “love letter to the electric guitar,” and was recorded with his touring band: bassist Lauren Stockner and drummer Pete Marin. The album also features contributions from Jessy Green (Foo Fighters) on strings and Jerry Borge (Ziggy Marley, Jonathan Wilson) on keys. Co-produced with David Davis (The War On Drugs, Lauren Ruth Ward), ELECTRIC channels the raw spirit of ’70s blues rock with a modern twist.
