Anchor Rock Club (ARC) added two free, interactive daytime events to its weekend programming during Phish’s three-night Atlantic City run on Sat. Aug. 6 and Sun. Aug. 7 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. EDT. The Helping Friendly Podcast (HFPod) is hosting The Disco Biscuits’ Jon Barber on Sat. and Phish lyricist Tom Marshall on Sun. Fans can catch it streaming live, or register for free with the venue to attend in-person.
On Sat. Aug. 6 HFPod kicks off with a brief summary of the Fri. night Phish show, and welcomes The Disco Biscuits’ guitarist and songwriter Jon Barber. This discussion will focus on his writing and creative process, the band and the road ahead, and is followed by a Barber solo acoustic performance.
On Sun. Aug. 7 the podcast team reconvenes for another recap on Phish’s Sat. night performance, a talk with Phish lyricist Tom Marshall and some very special guests. Whatnot, the internet’s fastest growing collectable marketplace, will host a live virtual auction to benefit Phish’s philanthropic arm The WaterWheel Foundation. Auction items will include rare vinyl records and posters, signed memorabilia, WaterWheel Foundation items, and more.
"We're excited to bring fans together around the Phish shows at Atlantic City - offering engaging conversation, music, and an auction for a great cause," said Tom Marshall, Chief Creative Officer, Osiris Media. "The WaterWheel Foundation has long been a positive force on the Phish community and beyond, and we're thrilled to work with Whatnot to benefit WaterWheel."
ARC is also hosting “(The Moma) Dance Party” Fri. Aug. 5 through Sun. Aug. 7; three consecutive late-nights with Chicago house music collective Orchard Lounge performing “b2b” with “Slovenian Prince of Disco” ICHISAN.

Tonewood Brewing was founded in 2016 in Oaklyn, NJ. Now brewing in both Oaklyn and our new production facility in Barrington, NJ that opened in 2022. Celebrating its 25th Anniversary this year, The WaterWheel Foundation was created by Phish in 1997 to oversee the band’s various charitable activities. Fueled by the kindness of the Phish fan community, WaterWheel’s mission is to create positive change by supporting nonprofit organizations based in Phish’s home state of Vermont, especially those focused on cleaning up the Lake Champlain watershed, as well as nonprofits local to each community where Phish’s tour stops via WaterWheel’s Touring Division. WaterWheel chooses beneficiaries from a wide sphere of causes including those working to protect the environment, promote social justice, fight food insecurity, provide music education, register voters, and those that help women and children, the homeless and others in need. Thanks to the generosity of Phish fans, since its creation WaterWheel has donated over $3.7 million to 500+ nonprofits through its Touring Division, $2 million to organizations working to protect Lake Champlain, $2.5 million to local Vermont groups, and $1 million to 30+ beneficiaries through the Dinner And A Movie campaign.
