Australian-based brothers Atlas Genius are thrilled to release their new album End of the Tunnel. The band has crafted a special recipe for this new collection of songs. Album ingredients: lost love, guilt, passion, a dash of social commentary, existential crises, reckless abandon, and honest self-criticism. May contain traces of lust.

In support of the new record, the band will embark on their first tour in six years. The co-headlining tour with Robert DeLong will kick off on September 8 in Chicago and run throughout the U.S., concluding at Los Angeles’ Echoplex on October 21.

This upcoming tour marks the band’s first in six years. 2024 also marks the 11-year anniversary of the band’s debut album, When It Was Now, which features top-charting songs, including the certified platinum hit “Trojans,” which reached #3 on the U.S. Alternative charts, and “If So,” which peaked at #8.

About Atlas Genius:

Their father was a self-made man. He started as a miner, working miles below the Australian earth, before becoming a successful engineer. However, his dreams fell apart following a debilitating heart attack and a two-year battle for his life. While their mother tended to their ailing father, the three teenage sons, Keith, Steven, and Michael, grew up quickly, having to provide for the family. Eldest Keith’s job at KFC wasn’t enough, so the Jeffery brothers started playing gigs to pay the family’s bills. Even the youngest, 14-year-old drummer Michael, had to balance schoolwork and early mornings with late-night cover band shows in local Adelaide clubs. After a few years and their father’s recovery, the band built a recording studio in their home garage. From this home studio came their debut album and the certified platinum hit single, “Trojans.”

Throughout their career, Atlas Genius has traveled the world, supporting acts like Weezer, Blink-182, Incubus, Silversun Pickups, The Neighbourhood, Passion Pit, Imagine Dragons, The Kooks, and more. They have performed at some of the most iconic and prestigious festivals, including Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Outside Lands, BottleRock, Shaky Knees, and Life is Beautiful. The band has also been featured on late-night shows such as Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Late Late Show with James Corden, Conan, The Late Show with David Letterman, and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
