Dogs In A Pile (DIAP) are coming to the City of Brotherly Love for an unforgettable night at the Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia on October 21. The follow up to the previous night’s show at The Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, New York is not just “any” gig for the band – it's their biggest headlining show to date in their own backyard! Hailing from the iconic shores of Asbury Park, New Jersey, DIAP are returning to the heart of the East Coast to bring their beloved fans – “The Dog Pound” – an evening of explosive jams, unrivaled energy and a whole lot of fun.
DIAP have been known to transcend traditional genres to create a sound that’s uniquely their own – blending elements of rock, funk, blues, electronic music, bluegrass and jam. Just this July, they played in front of a massive 7,000-person crowd during their set at The Peach Music Festival. The fest, a relative short drive from Philadelphia, was a critical point in the band’s wildly successful year. It helped to create a buzz that very few jam bands in the scene currently have.
Now, after much strenuous training and with Mr. Tooker’s help avoiding the delicious temptations of the Philly food scene – Jeremy Kaplan (keys), Brian Murray (guitar), Jimmy Law (guitar), Joe Babick (drums) and Sam Lucid (bass) are ready to bowl a strike at one of the city’s premiere venues.
The night will kick off with a performance by the staple South Jersey band Fat Mezz. Get ready for a double dose of The Garden State’s finest musical talents! Doors will open at 7:00pm while the show is slated to start at 8:00pm.
Prepare to witness the energy and love that flows when a band returns to their roots and brings the house down at the Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia!
