The Black Spectrum Theatre Co. is thrilled to announce a special one-night-only event as part of its renowned Dinner Theatre Series, featuring performances by acclaimed spoken word artist Gha’il Rhodes Benjamin and Grammy-nominated recording artist Jonathan Butler. This unforgettable evening will take place on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the Black Spectrum Theatre, located in Roy Wilkins Park (177-01 Baisley Boulevard, Jamaica, NY 11434).

The evening begins with a fine dining experience at 5:00 PM, followed by world-class entertainment at 7:00 PM, providing a seamless blend of culture, community, and culinary delights.

A Night to Remember

“This is the perfect venue to experience the magic of Jonathan Butler,” remarked a resident of Addisleigh Park, capturing the excitement surrounding this event. Billed as a Pre-Thanksgiving Concert, this show marks the second production and first concert of Black Spectrum’s 2024-2025 season, following the season’s acclaimed opening production, Black Spurs.

Jonathan Butler, the South African music legend, made history as the first non-white artist to be featured on South African radio and national television. His illustrious career includes multiple Top 10 Billboard hits, such as his Grammy-nominated singles “Lies” and “Sarah, Sarah”, as well as fan favorite “More Than Friends.”
