Today, Breckenridge Brewery Hootenanny announces hometown favorites, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, will headline this year’s festival. They join the previously announced Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Larry & Jenny Keel (accompanied by Drew Emmitt and Andy Thorn of Leftover Salmon), and Head for the Hills on the Main Stage. The Beer Garden Stage showcases Colorado musicians Zolopht, Grant Farm, We Dream Dawn, Sweet Lillies, and Caribou Mountain Collective.
Breckenridge Brewery’s all-day music-fueled celebration on July 9th marks the brewery's twenty-sixth year in the craft brewing scene. The annual anniversary shindig started as a pig-pickin’, foot-stompin’, beer-drinkin’ block party. Not much has changed over the years except the brewery’s ability to host more people and bands. The twelve-acre brewery campus in Littleton, Colorado, provides room for two stages, elbow room for dancing, more beer and barbecue tents, and more space for hanging out with friends.
“Our Hootenanny really speaks to who we are,” explains Todd Thibault, the brewery’s Culture Czar. “We’ve grown up a bit over the twenty-six years, but we’re still the same folks who enjoy good beer and good times with friends. That’s why we do this. We want to share what we love with the folks who helped us get here. We’re busting at the seams to announce the headliner!”
As in years past, the Breckenridge Brewery Hootenanny benefits Conscious Alliance, a Colorado-based non-profit that fights hunger across the nation through their extraordinary grassroots food collection and hunger awareness programs.
