As of today, supergroup formations and the daily lineups for Brooklyn Comes Alive 2017 are officially here! Additionally, the festival is now offering single day tickets, as well as a ticket payment plan. More information is available here.
After two successfully sold out years, the annual Brooklyn Comes Alive festival will return to Williamsburg, Brooklyn for two full days of unique supergroups, special tribute sets and once in a lifetime collaborations. This year, the event expands to two days, taking place September 23 - 24 at three of Brooklyn’s premier venues, Brooklyn Bowl, Schimanski and Music Hall of Williamsburg. Ticket purchases include access to all three venues and attendees are free to come and go as they please.
Brooklyn Comes Alive is also excited to welcome legendary drummer, Bernard Purdie, and keyboardist of Tedeschi Trucks Band, Kofi Burbridge, to join the Allman Brothers tribute. Additionally, the newly announced return to the festival’s original home of Schimanski (formerly Verboten) is welcome news, as it allows for a closer venue proximity — now 5 minutes walking distance — better sound quality and more room to dance!
Inspired by the vibrant musical communities of Brooklyn and New Orleans, this unique event puts the focus on the artists, bringing over 100 musicians together to see their passion projects come to life, honor their musical heroes, and improvise with their friends and peers. The event pushes the boundaries of a traditional music festival model and creates an unprecedented experience for fans.
Without further ado, Brooklyn Comes Alive is pleased to present the daily lineups for 2017.
