Chestnut Grove premiere the psychedelic and soulful video for their latest single, “All For You,” via Glide Magazine which will be released on the band’s upcoming LP, Can’t Stand the Music.  The band is currently on tour with upcoming dates in upstate NY, Wisconsin, Wikes-Barre, PA amongst others. “It was so great to be in this video- the crew was amazing,” says singer/guitarist/drummer, Dee Gerhart. “It didn’t feel like work at all, and overall, I think we captured everything they were going for visually. Not only does it look great, but I think it represents us, as a band, how we are; a quirky group who clearly spend a lot of time together and love one another.”

Glide raves, “recently, the band dropped a new single titled ’All For You,’ which provides a glimpse at what we can expect from them in the coming year. Today Glide is offering up an exclusive premiere of the song’s music video. Filled with colorful imagery that captures the song’s soaring psychedelia-meets-R&B, the video captures the spirit of this band in a way that is sunny and laid back. Like a cross between the Alabama Shakes and Tame Impala, “All For You” marries kaleidoscopic indie pop and rock with infectiously soulful vocals courtesy of Dee Gerhart. One can only imagine that this tune would be well at home in what must be a supremely entertaining live show.”

2022 was a banner year for Chestnut Grove.  In addition to the release of singles “Can’t Stand the Music” and “All For You,” the band made their inaugural appearance at WXPN’s 2022 Xponential Music Festival and WXPN’s Free at Noon concert series.

WXPN raved, “Chestnut Grove opens up day three of XPNFest with a bang… the band packed every minute of their performance with energy.”

Chestnut Grove’s 2021 release, The Album was produced by Derek Chafin (AKA “Chestnut Grove’s sixth man”) and features singles “Golden Age,” “Ain't Got Nobody,” “Newspaper Hats,” and fan favorite “I Know Somebody.” They celebrated the album’s release with a sold-out show at Ardmore Music Hall (virtually streamed via Nugs.net), followed by appearances on Radio 104.5, 88.5 XPN’s Key Sessions and Jam in the Van.

“If people can relate, jam out to it and it reaches the people who need it, then mission accomplished for me,” says guitarist/pianist/singer/songwriter, Dee Gerhart. “Bands still exist. The idea of getting your friends who have instruments together and making noise, isn’t dead. It is possible to stick through good and hard times, and still love what you do and who you do it with. I hope that our music will inspire more people to create and relate. Music is the universal communicator. It's healing for everyone.”
