Corb Lund will reissue his entire catalog on limited edition vinyl via New West Records. Eleven albums originally released from 1995 through 2024 will be reissued as well as an additional twelfth title to be announced in 2026. The announcement follows Lund’s celebrated 2024 album El Viejo. Met with critical acclaim, Uncut Magazine awarded El Viejo an 8/10 rating as their “Americana Album of the Month” while Holler awarded it an 8.5/10 rating, saying “Wise, honest and fun, it’s a collection for the good times and the bad, resonating whether you come out swinging or come up short.” Glide Magazine said “El Viejo is a stunning character study of gamblers and loners moving from card game to card game, perfectly bridging modern Americana with the likes of Jerry Reed, Del McCoury and Marty Robbins with a Springsteen-like sense of storytelling in three-minute bursts” while No Depression said “Listening to El Viejo is like cracking open a dusty, leather-bound book about the Old West, populated by rough-around-the-edges characters at the end of their ropes.”
Lund says, “I’m excited to get my ENTIRE catalogue out on vinyl! Some of the older albums have been out of print forever and the super early ones have never been on vinyl. I’ve been digging through all of it and there were songs I barely remember writing. Pretty cool trip down memory lane. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.”
Lund has also announced the launch of The Dark Horse Vinyl Club where fans will have access to extremely limited color versions of each title, a signed poster, free shipping, 24 hour exclusive access to purchase limited edition merch, entry to win autographed test pressings, and other exclusive offers. The first 250 members will receive a live zoom performance and Q&A with Lund. Lund’s first four albums, Modern Pain (1995), Unforgiving Mistress (1999), Five Dollar Bill (2002), and Hair in my Eyes Like a Highland Steer (2005) are available for pre-order TODAY. Modern Pain and Unforgiving Mistress are available on vinyl for the very first time, while Five Dollar Bill and Hair in my Eyes are available on vinyl for the first time since their original release. Modern Pain will be released on May 16, Unforgiving Mistress will be released on June 27, Five Dollar Bill will be released on August 1, and Hair in my Eyes Like a Highland Steer will be released on September 12. New West Records will continue to release the remaining Lund albums on limited vinyl throughout 2025 and 2026. All titles are available for pre-order now.
Corb Lund will also launch a co-headline tour next week with his old friend & collaborator, the singer-songwriter Hayes Carll. The Bible on the Dash Tour will feature the pair performing acoustically, trading songs, and telling stories. Lund has also announced additional tour dates with his band The Hurtin’ Albertans launching on May 18 at the Cloverdale Rodeo & County Fair in Surrey, Canada. Please see tour dates below.
