Dead Set On The Bay, the Live Dead Sunset Cruise experience, is back this summer for our 5th time rocking out on the Bay! This time, we will be taking you back in time to re-imagine the Grateful Dead's incredible July 14th, 1976 show at The Orpheum in San Francisco as we cruise around Alcatraz and under the Bays iconic bridges. An unforgettable peak live Dead experience like no other, this is truly a bucket list event. The Grateful Guitar Foundation is graciously loaning us iconic period-specific guitars to help us make it sound just exactly perfect for you!
We welcome back DAVE A'BEAR (Steely Dead, JGB) to lead the band this year. He will be joined by NICK SANDOVAL (Wall of Sound; guitar, vocals), MOOKIE SIEGEL (Dave Nelson Band; keys, vocals), ANNA ELVA (The China Dolls; drums), JP MCLEAN (Melvin Seals & JGB, bass & vocals) and STEPHANIE HARTWELL-MANDELLA (Like A Rose; vocals).
We will be sailing aboard the luxurious Fume Blanc, a replica of a New York State Hudson River Steamboat

There will be food and drinks and dancing on the waves, with two sets of good ol' Grateful Dead taking you back to ‘76. Note that this show is scheduled for Sunday July 14th, the day after Dark Star Orchestra & Melvin Seals & JGB perform at the Greek Theater. Making this an excellent Deadhead getaway weekend in the SF East Bay!
