FIDLAR, the irreverent surf-punk trio, has made their highly anticipated return with the announcement of their fourth studio album Surviving the Dream, set for release on September 20, 2024. This marks the band’s first full-length record in over five years. Alongside the album announcement, FIDLAR has released a scorching double-single, “GET OFF MY WAVE” and “FIX ME,” the latter of which features a chaotic new music video starring Sosie Bacon in an unhinged karaoke performance.

Frontman Zac Carper shared, “This record is about doubling down on what you love. For us, it’s about playing shows and making music. Coming back after a few years away, our intention was to self-make an album that the three of us are stoked on. We’re very, very, very pumped on it and what’s to come. These songs are meant to be heard live with the fellow FIDIOTS going off.”
Recorded and produced entirely by the band at Balboa Recording Studio in East LA, Surviving the Dream captures FIDLAR’s DIY ethos and kinetic live energy. The album reflects the band’s evolution as they grapple with aging and self-reflection while still delivering the angst, debauchery, and reckless abandon that have defined their music from the beginning.
FIDLAR recently wowed crowds at No Values Festival in Pomona, CA, and to celebrate the new album, they have announced an extensive North American headlining tour. Kicking off in Santa Cruz on September 23, 2024, and culminating with a Halloween show in Los Angeles, the tour will hit over 20 cities across the U.S. and Canada.
