Grace Potter and Higher Ground Music announced today that Jackson Browne and Ani DiFranco have been added to the lineup for the 2018 Grand Point North music festival, set to take place September 15th and 16th at Burlington, Vermont’s Waterfront Park. Single day tickets are now on sale for $59. Two-day passes remain available for just $89.
In addition, the daily lineups for Grand Point North, which features two stages of nationally-known artists alongside regional bands making their mark on the Burlington music scene, were also announced.
On Saturday, Potter will be joined by Jackson Browne, Ani DiFranco, Mt Joy, Darlingside, Clever Girls, West End Blend, and Miku Daza. The festival opens with an act selected via the annual Seven Days fan-voted contest.
Joining Potter on Sunday will be Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, The Magpie Salute, Caroline Rose, Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds, Seth Yacovone Band, Harsh Armadillo, JUPTR and Julia Caesar.
For the sixth consecutive year, Grand Point North will partner with Seven Days, Vermont's free, alternative newsweekly, to give fans a chance to choose one lucky Vermont musician or band to kick off this year's Grand Point North. The nomination period runs July 9- 15, with voting from July 16- 22. All fans who vote will have the chance to win two weekend passes to this year’s festival.
