JANE’S ADDICTION turn up the heat for the third leg of their North American “Theatre of the Escapists” tour.  Joining them on their new summer dates--which go on sale this week—will be various support acts on select shows including Mutemath, Band of Skulls and Die Antword. 

The immersive theatrical experience of the “Theatre of the Escapists” carnival--described by the Dallas Morning News as “a sanctuary for freaks and fetishes” (5/11/12)--is captured in this short film now posted at ArtistDirect, with stellar sets that highlight material from their acclaimed album THE GREAT ESCAPE ARTIST (Capitol Records) plus classic songs that have not been played in more than twenty years, such as “Classic Girl” and “I Would for You.”
