Joshua Tree Music Festival has just announced the full programming and set times for its upcoming Fall 2024 event taking place Thursday, October 10 - Sunday, October 13 at Joshua Tree Lake Campground in Joshua Tree, CA. The four-day, family-friendly global music affair will once again feature a genre-diverse lineup backdropped by a uniquely inclusive, community-oriented atmosphere—a combination that has made the event a repeat Mojave Desert destination for camping festival-goers, and USA Today’s #1 U.S. festival in their 2024 10Best Readers' Choice Awards.

The festival will feature music and experiential programming across six stages and areas—Indian Cove, Nowhere Found, Boogaloo, Café Stage, Art Gallery, and Nashua Sounds.

The Boogaloo Lounge will continue the jams and host artists such as Evie Joy, Ashni, Purser, Honeywild, Stephen Lewis Big Fun Duo, House of Hamsa, Adryon de Leon, Rosa Pullman, Haute Mess, Mah Ze Tar, and more.

Fans can catch acts like Corinne West, The Disco Shaman Is Real, Mario Lalli & The Rubber Snake Charmers, The Local Honeys, Major Butta, Tanfis II, Hyper Object, Lisa Sanders & Brown Sugar, and Sir Kaydian at the Café Stage. The stage will also host workshops throughout the weekend such as Embodied Groove Dance Sesh and Joshua Tree Teen Jam Revue.

The brand-new Nowhere Found Lounge will feature a plethora of fun, interactive workshops and activities including “Coming Out of the Clown Closet,” “Sock Puppets: Reflections of the Psyche,” “Soft Clown Step & Stretch,” and “Spin & Grin: Community Flow.”

Nashua Sounds will host Pau Castro and King Madre on Thursday to kick off the weekend, and King Madre & Friends on Sunday evening.

The Art Gallery will welcome DJ Alkimmy to host the Art Gallery Opening Party on Thursday, October 10, and the Aerial Arts by Flowbox workshops throughout the weekend.

Joshua Tree Music Festival will also feature the Sanctuary—a circular earthen bench created for conversational gatherings, mindfulness talks, and more. The Queer Salon will provide a community space for QTBIPOCC and LGBTQIAA+ to expand social networks and provide resources and education.

The Astro Mojo Dojo Tea Lounge is intended to be a safe and sober space for reflection and connection during galactic tea ceremonies during the festival. The Positive Vibration Station will host Qi Gong, sound healing, dance, yoga, breath work, and more under 1,200 square feet of shade by the lake. The Healing Oasis will welcome a community of healers from all walks of life to practice their craft and offer a variety of healing modalities.

Another unique element of Joshua Tree Music Festival is its embrace of being an all-ages celebration centered around its Kidsville area—a family-friendly space with activities such as arts and crafts, face painting, yoga, puppet shows, magic and improvisation shows, and more. Situated at the heart of the festival grounds, Kidsville is a bustling haven of non-stop activities, abundant shade, and captivating entertainment designed specifically for families.

The Joshua Tree Music Festival community returns to the event's progressive, inclusive environment every year, having fallen in love with the festival’s anti-hierarchical, NO-VIP policy—which creates a space where every attendee and performer exists on the same plane.

All festival tickets include walk-in tent camping (where you park in day parking and walk your gear into the campground), and single-day tickets include camping for that night. If you wish to have your vehicle in the campground, you need to purchase the appropriate vehicle pass. Attendees can also inquire about reserved RV sites with power/water hook-ups, Cozy Camper Trailers, and more lodging options.
