KBCO Studio C will release 18 new songs exclusively performed live on 97.3 KBCO starting at 6am, December 5th at nine select Colorado Whole Foods Market Front Range locations. The last KBCO Studio C session was on March 5th, 2020 because COVID-19 put an end to touring and bands visiting KBCO Studio C.
On May 30th KBCO produced a virtual livestream event “Banding Together” to raise money for the out of work music community because of COVID-19. This meant we had fewer live sessions to source music from for the release, 11 songs on Volume 32 are from KBCO Studio C and 7 are taken from the Banding Together event.
An annual tradition as a highly sought-after collectors’ item to purchase the latest KBCO Studio C CD for a unique holiday gift. KBCO Studio C Volume 32 CD will be sold for $12.00 on December 5th at select Colorado Whole Foods Market locations.
97.3 KBCO handpicks a wide variety of songs from artists, who donate their time and talent, for their world famous KBCO Studio C charity CD Series.
Proceeds from the sale of the KBCO Studio C Volume 32 CD will benefit the Boulder County AIDS Project, Food Bank of the Rockies and Colorado Music Relief Fund. “Boulder County AIDS Project is grateful and honored to be a beneficiary of 97.3 KBCO Studio C Volume 32! We know 2020 has been challenging in many ways for businesses, nonprofits, and community members. KBCO's continued partnership with BCAP is especially meaningful this year, and will help BCAP continue to meet the increased needs we are seeing among people we serve who are living with HIV or at risk of acquiring HIV and/or hepatitis C." says Frank O’Caña, BCAP’s Executive Director.
“In a year during which Food Bank of the Rockies is being called upon unlike any other time in our 42-year history, KBCO and their listeners are stepping up to provide support in truly inspiring ways. More people than ever are facing hunger, and so we are especially grateful for the musicians, KBCO, and everyone who purchases the KBCO Studio C CD this year.” – Erin Pulling, President and CEO, Food Bank of the Rockies
“As the organizational steward for the Colorado Music Relief Fund, RedLine is so grateful to be a recipient of support from the sales of KBCO Studio C Volume 32 to continue this effort to support musicians statewide impacted by Covid-19. Since the launch of the fund with the kick-off event "Banding Together" over $800,000.00 have gone to support musicians who have lost work due to the pandemic.” – Louise Martorano, Executive Director, Colorado Music Relief Fund
