The announcement of moe.’s fall tour follows a busy few weeks for the band, which included an epic 2-night run at the Saranac Brewery in Utica, NY, a performance a Meow Wolf in Santa Fe, NM, and a 2-night run with Umphrey’s McGee at the beautiful Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO. This season also included a poignant stop at the Summer Camp Music Festival, which moe. has performed at every year since its inception in 2001, as the festival announced that it will be taking a hiatus in its current form beginning next year. The band closed out the weekend with their third-ever performance of Blind Melon’s “No Rain” and a powerful rendition of “Buster.” The upcoming summer tour will culminate with a 2-night run at Music Box at the Borgata in Atlantic City, NJ on August 4th-5th, marking the band’s first appearances in the city since before the pandemic in February 2020.
moe. has been receiving rave reviews throughout the year, following the return of guitarist Chuck Garvey to the road after his recovery from a stroke, as well as the permanent addition of keyboardist Nate Wilson. Live For Live Music reports, "Recent tours have seen Wilson revitalize the band’s touring catalog as he looks for places to fit himself into the well-established mix, adding long breathy chords that add emotional weight to classics and new covers.” Grateful Web added, “moe. is back and playing better than ever.”
moe. is a one-of-a-kind band that has never been easily categorized. Their sonic adventurousness and tongue-in-cheek humor are distinctly and undeniably their own. Praised by American Songwriter for their “mind-bending musicality,” moe. is treasured for their mesmerizing musical synergy, unfettered showmanship, and smart, resonant songcraft.
moe.’s longevity is no doubt due to the family spirit shared between its members and its engaged fanbase, the Famoe.ly, a bond that has been fortified through decades on the road. moe. has performed innumerable headline tours, international festival sets, music-themed cruises, and sold-out shows alongside countless household-name artists. They’ve also promoted and headlined multiple festivals of their own, including snoe.down and moe.down. The band’s vibrant blend of inventive musicality and genre-blurring is on full display on two recent releases, their 12th studio album, 'This Is Not, We Are,' and the 'Not Normal' EP.
