ODESZA won the award for Best Electronic Record (presented by Ingrooves) at the Libera Awards courtesy of A2IM (The American Association of Independent Music, Inc.) for their latest LP ‘The Last Goodbye’ (released via Foreign Family Collective/Ninja Tune).
The award win follows their recent GRAMMY nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album for ‘The Last Goodbye’, a headlining spot last weekend at Governors Ball, and the release of a deluxe edition drop for the LP including ODESZA’s VIP remixes of two beloved tracks from their ‘In Return’ era: “All We Need (feat. Shy Girls)” & “Sun Models (feat. Madelyn Grant)”.
ODESZA are set to headline Bonnaroo this weekend as well as Electric Forest, Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, Life Is Beautiful and Austin City Limits, embark on the second leg of their “The Last Goodbye Tour” this fall, and will debut their first immersive concert film on July 7 when “ODESZA: The Last Goodbye Cinematic Experience” hits 700+ theaters in 23+ countries worldwide.
The first leg of ODESZA’s “The Last Goodbye Tour” sold over 450k tickets throughout its amphitheater run with numerous sold-out, multi-night runs including in their hometown of Seattle at Climate Pledge Arena, the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, and New York’s Forest Hills Stadium, making them the first electronic artists to attempt such a tour. Their live show has earned high praise with a Pollstar cover feature proclaiming, “ODESZA makes history,” the Seattle Times calling them “a ticket selling, dance music force that raised the live performance bar for electronic artists” and Rolling Stone describing their show as “a spaceship-circus of geometrically pleasing lights, smoke, video and a six-member drumline.”
