ON Sunday December 2, from 1:00-7:00 p.m., Out of the Fire Benefit presents a concert of live music performed by artists featured on the “Out of the Fire” benefit CD. The album, Out of the Fire, a CD of original music and cover tunes was created to help heal survivors of the 2017 fires. All proceeds are donated to the replacement and repair of musical instruments lost or damaged in the fire.
The album features dynamic Sonoma County musicians Sarah Baker, Volker Strifler, Danny Sorentino, Eki Shola and Johnny Campbell, who each wrote songs for the album, as well as popular entertainers Levi Lloyd, Allegra Broughton, Doug Jayne, Willy Jordan, and Zero. The album also features “The Fire Choir,” a group of talented singers who, along with all other people involved in the project, donated their time and talent.
Produced by Segue Entertainment, Prairie Sun’s Mooka Rennick, Engineer & Musician Allen Sudduth, who lost his home in the fire; and musician Sarah Baker, the fundraising event December 2, 2018 at Sally Tomatoes, includes a silent auction, a no host bar, and a raffle. The price of admission is a reasonable $10 donation, or $25 VIP ticket for food and admission in advance or at the door $15 for general admission or $30 for a VIP ticket. Cd’s and posters will be available for sale. All proceeds go to the Out of the Fire Benefit Trust Fund.
