On November 25 and 26, Papadosio will celebrate the 10 year anniversary of their pivotal album, To End the Illusion of Separation (more commonly referred to as T.E.T.I.O.S.), at the historic Masonic Cleveland.
The band has worked to quickly pivot their original anniversary plans when Resonance Music and Arts Festival was forced to relocate to Nelson’s Ledges Quarry Park and postpone until next summer due to permit issues at The Woodlands Nature Preserve, its previously scheduled host venue.
In an effort to keep the 10 year concerts as close to the actual anniversary as possible and to bring the celebration back home to where the band started, Papadosio recently announced the new show dates and Midwest location. Fans were excited about revisiting the tradition of Papadosio playing in Ohio every year on Thanksgiving weekend, and what better reason for their return than to celebrate the pivotal album?
The two night event will feature the band performing a complete play through of T.E.T.I.O.S., start to finish, for the first time since it was released. To give the 20-track album the proper treatment it deserves, each night will feature 2 sets and 3 hours of music by Papadosio, as well as supporting acts that have yet to be announced.
In addition to announcing the anniversary concerts, Papadosio made the long awaited announcement that T.E.T.I.O.S. will finally be available on vinyl. A very limited variant boxed set of the album will only be available at the anniversary shows, but fans will still have the opportunity to purchase pressings of the album soon, even if they cannot attend the shows in Cleveland.
Guitarist Anthony Thogmartin took to social media to share his excitement about the vinyl release. “This is the number one thing fans have been asking us for,” he said. “And it has turned out just perfect!”
This will be the first time that Papadosio has performed at the Masonic Cleveland. Tickets are available for Friday or Saturday night, but it is truly a multi-night event, so two-night passes are available and encouraged.
