PLEASE HELP US RAISE PUBLIC AWARENESS ABOUT THE NEGATIVE CONSEQUENCES OF NOT RECYCLING MOBILE PHONES.

Did you know that there are more than 1 Billion mobile phones waiting to be recycled in the US? Or, that one (1) mobile phone contains enough toxic substances (lead, mercury, cadmium, arsenic, etc) to contaminate 40,000 gallons of drinking water? Or, that an estimated 175 million new mobile phones will be issued this year in the US, yet less than 1% ever get recycled?

In partnership with Musictoday, Gibson, Rhino Records, and Nugs.Net, Rock the Earth's mobile phone recycling program aims to inspire fans to embrace recycling while increasing public awareness of the environmental consequences of discarded mobile phones. The more phones you bring to Phish Festival 8 for recycling the less toxic chemicals end up in landfills and the bigger your positive impact on the environment, while also increasing your chances of winning one of these fantastic prizes. What are you waiting for? Spread the word!

If you're not planning to attend, you can still recycle your phone and secure the Musictoday discount.  Please visit www.rtephonedrive.com to access the free, pre-paid shipping label.
