After a groundbreaking 4-night Halloween run this past weekend, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong are excited to share their first-string of 2019 tour dates. Included among the newly announced dates are the band's first headlining play in Chicago since 2017 (2/15 at Concord Music Hall); their first run through Florida since 2016 – with stops in Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa Bay and Ft. Lauderdale; and a prompt return to Virginia with plays in Charlottesville (1/30) and Norfolk (1/31). Mungion and The Fritz will join for support on select dates.

This news promptly follows the band's groundbreaking 4-night "Red Hot Sergeant Peppers" Halloween run, which saw sold-out performances at The National in Richmond, VA and over both nights The Variety Playhouse in Atlanta, GA. Each night, the setlist was completely unique with different mashups, song selections and nonstop surprises throughout the run.

Appropriately, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong wore red Sergeant Peppers jackets with custom patches on the back reminiscent of the classic RHCP symbol, completing their outfits with white pants which featured black tribal designs from the RHCP album Blood Sugar Sex Magik.
Given the band's history of putting together unique themes for their Halloween and New Year's Eve sets, fans can only anticpate what's planned for New Year's Eve 2019. Stay tuned.
