On the heels of last year’s successful debut, the Florida Groves Festival has been expanded to a weekend event in 2023. It will be held at the Orlando Amphitheater at the Central Florida Fairgrounds (4603 W Colonial Drive) on Saturday, April 15th and Sunday, April 16th.
The music, art and cannabis festival will feature local Florida artists, popular music acts and numerous educational aspects on the Cannabis Plant. The two-day event runs from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Live music starts at 1:00 p.m. and will include performances from such international artists and Florida-based acts as Thievery Corporation, Protoje, Collie Buddz, Fortunate Youth, Inner Circle, Bumpin Uglies, Ballyhoo!, Kash’d Out, Artikal, Sound System, Shwayze and many others.
Returning this year is Tattoo Con that will again offer attendees the chance to leave Florida Groves with a new piece of art on their body. The event has partnered with It’s A Fine Gallery & Tattoo Studio and will have 20+ world-class tattoo artists available to help those wanting to add some ink select a design of their choice. New this year at Florida Groves is the Orlando Sneaker Convention which will be on hand at the event for those sneakerheads wanting to swap and add a fresher pair to their collection.
Food trucks will offer munchies, healthy options and sweets and an assortment of beverages will include craft beers, seltzers and mixed drinks.
Other event highlights will include a Vendor Grove that showcases numerous businesses, brands and artists exhibiting throughout the outdoor grounds and in the indoor facility; Live Art with mural artists and glass blowers creating live art along with a host of Cannabis Activations and Presentations.
Single-day passes are $50 with weekend passes priced at $80. VIP Experiences boast a custom festival swag box, covered area close to the stage, exclusive bars and much more.
